“At 41 + weeks pregnant, in the middle of August, saying I was eager to get labor and delivery underway was an understatement. A medical induction was scheduled just days away and I was desperate to avoid this approach. Having never tried acupuncture before, I thought this was worth a try and contacted Danielle regarding Labor Induction acupuncture. Although she was on vacation, she replied back and suggested a plan to avoid the medical induction. After arriving at the office, she listened to my concerns and goals and explained exactly what she was going to do to as she did it. With the needles in place, I was left to relax in a very tranquil setting in her studio. After 10 minutes of relaxing I felt an odd popping sensation and then realized my water had broke. She worked quickly to call my husband and arranged for him to take me to the hospital, all while keeping me very calm.
